Overview

Established by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, the Hong Kong Disaster Preparedness and Response Institute (HKJC DPRI) aims to train healthcare professionals, NGOs workers / practitioners, teachers / students and members of the community in Hong Kong on disaster preparedness and responses; to provide a central platform for ongoing professional education, networking and policy conversations; and to explore opportunities to engage with China, the broader Asia Pacific region and globally. The HKJC DPRI prepares Hong Kong as a prepared community to disaster response through training and knowledge dissemination at individual, institutional and policy level.
