Studio dmau A studio for urbanism with a focus on research and public space design – we design spaces and make films about places. At Studio dmau our projects range from large scale visions and masterplans to detailed public space designs. We believe that good design of the public realm is essential for healthy urban environments and citizens. We help communities realise their vision through a collaborative process. Next to this we use filmmaking to capture and understand how cities and places work. Over the past years we have developed extensive experience in designing Playscapes – public spaces where play is integrated into every aspect of the design playful spaces where people can meet to hang out, exercise learn have fun and connect with each other.
