DiversiCom is a Brussels-based non-profit organisation. We facilitate the recruitment of people with disability by matching their skills with the needs of companies and other employers. We support both disabled job seekers in their preparation for, and entry into the workforce; as well as firms seeking to establish and embody a truly inclusive recruitment and human resources policy. • In collaboration with disabled job seekers, we carry out a needs and expectations analysis; assist with CV preparation and job applications; provide coaching for interviews and encourage independence and increased self-confidence. Once employed, we continue to offer guidance to the disabled individual in order to help them adjust to the demands of the workplace. • We give tailor-made advice to companies seeking to employ disabled individuals to work alongside their staff, providing: risks and opportunities analysis; pre-selection of candidates; identification of public subsidies ; resolution of accessibility issues; internal communication and preparation. We assist directly, when requested, in the recruitment process. • We promote diversity in the workplace by sharing best practices and encouraging successful candidates and their employer to share their experiences and become ambassadors for inclusion.
