Adhering to Toastmasters International mission "We build new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence", District 116 has been pivotal in empowering individuals in Qatar to achieve their potential and elevate their capabilities in communication & leadership development. From its inception, District 116 has witnessed a robust growth, echoing Qatar's own dynamic evolution on the world stage. With over 125 clubs & numerous Gavel clubs for children spread across the country, the District caters to a diverse population, including professionals, students, and individuals from various cultural backgrounds. This diversity is the district's strength, allowing members to gain a global perspective while refining their communication skills. Toastmaster Clubs within Qatar operates: In multiple languages: Arabic, English, Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam and Tamil. At the community level, like Engineers, Chartered Accountants, Quantity Surveyors, etc. Within Universities and schools, like Qatar University, Within Corporates, both at the Government and Private sectors: like Aspire, Ooredoo, Qatar Airways, Commercial Bank of Qatar, Galfar Al Misnad, Voltas, Landmark, Abmak, McDermott, etc. The activities of Toastmasters perfectly align with the key pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030 Toastmasters District 116 in Qatar, with its passionate members, experienced mentors, and dedicated leadership, strives to create an environment where voices are honed, leadership is nurtured, and excellence is a habit.
