The Discover Ability Network connects employers to job seekers by offering simple and easy ways to benefit from inclusion. These include: • An unparalleled job matching technology • Training for employers, service providers and job seekers on disability and employment • Networking events for employers and job seekers with a disability Job matching technology The Discover Ability portal makes finding inclusive employment in Ontario easier for people with disabilities. Job seekers who self-declare as a person with a disability are matched to inclusive employers seeking to hire from this talent pool. Training opportunities The Discover Ability network offers free training on a range of disability, job readiness and job search, and employment issues to our partners (service providers, job seekers, businesses and post-secondary institutions). Networking Events Within each of our identified employment hubs, Discover Ability will be coordinating networking events where job seekers can meet with employers looking to hire. These events will feature learning opportunities for the job seeker as well as feature guest speakers who will share their stories.
