Overview

Direct Steel® and Construction is an award-winning Commercial General Contractor delivering exciting projects and exceptional experiences to a wide range of commercial and institutional clients. Founded in 2004, Direct facilitates structures for industrial, office, recreational, religious, restaurants, retail, transportation, multi-family, warehouse/distribution and transportation clients. Working across the public and private sectors, Direct’s team brings collaboration, problem-solving and optimal technology to every project to successfully align the five pillars of construction—Scope, Budget, Schedule, Quality & Safety. OUR SERVICES ✔ Commercial General Contractor. Following a thorough review and understanding of the construction documents, we move to budget analysis, preliminary scheduling, clarification of scope, facilitating permit applications and securing competitive trade contractor bids. As the pillars are aligned, we provide project management, site supervision and preconstruction and construction oversight. ✔ Commercial Construction Management. At the project’s earliest stage, the team evaluates constructability, budget and schedule. The second phase incorporates value engineering to further align with clients’ goals. The final phase includes Project Management. ✔ Owner’s Representative. We assist in site selection, entitlement efforts, permitting, due diligence, contract negotiations and selection of architects, engineers and other team members. This early stage typically includes investigating potential constructability issues and identifying entitlement hurdles and potential availability. Our capable team is proud of its proven track record of exceeding client expectations. We work in concert with owners, developers, designers, architects, engineers, consultants and end-users to create cost-effective, aesthetically pleasing, energy-efficient, environmentally sound buildings that facilitate relationships among people, technology and space.
