“Digi Talents” is a Slovak-Moldovan job mobility and career development programme designed for young Moldovan professionals working in the ICT sector. The programme offers 50 Moldovan graduates and students of ICT-related fields a 12-month job or a 3-month internship in leading ICT companies in Slovakia. What you need to know about the project The Mobility programme is targeting young, highly motivated IT Talents from Moldova keen on gaining foreign employment experience and utilize it back in Moldova. It has 3 main phases: Talent Incubator Training – Before leaving for Slovakia, the programme participants will complete 6 weeks of targeted professional training in a talent incubator to prepare for working in Slovakia and according to the needs of specific ICT companies. Mobility – Specialised 8 weeks talent training will continue even after participants arrive in Slovakia and start their employment or internship. The participants will undergo intensive training to improve their practical programming and English language skills, as well as mastering the basics of the Slovak language. Reintegration – Upon termination of employment and return to Moldova, each programme participant will have the opportunity to continue improving their qualifications during 2 months in the Talent Incubator. At the same time, the participants will receive assistance towards orientation on the Moldovan labour market. Selected candidates will receive financial and practical support in building their own business or start-up. The support of start-up activities will be provided in co-operation with the Startup City Cahul Innovation and Technology Center, which is funded by the European Commission.
