The Hirschsprung Collection is an art museum in the middle of Copenhagen. It holds one of Denmark's finest collections of Danish 19th Century art including masterpieces by C.W. Eckersberg, Christen Købke, J.Th. Lundbye, P.S. Krøyer, Anna & Michael Ancher, and Vilhelm Hammershøi. The Hirschsprung Collection is also a part of Parkmuseerne, a museum district in the centre of Copenhagen. Located in and near beautiful parkland you find six museums: The David Collection, the Filmhouse, the Hirschsprung Collection, Rosenborg Castle, SMK – National Gallery of Denmark, and the Natural History Museum of Denmark.
