Overview

Founded on November 2, 1989, the Delta Pi Sorority is committed to sisterhood, philanthropy, high values and ethics. Our Alpha Chapter was founded in Toronto, Ontario with sisters from post-secondary institutions all around the city. Our Ribbons and Roses Charity Auction, one of our many annual events, benefits The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in support of breast cancer research. Overall, we have raised well over $55,000 and several doves hang on the Princess Margret Hospital Wall of Hope in the main entrance showing our contributions. Our hard work also contributes to many different charities and causes close to our hearts. Some include the annual CIBC Run for the Cure, UJA's Walk with Israel and Save a Child's Heart. We also support the fundraising efforts of other sororities and fraternities in the Greek community in Toronto. We have recently opened three other chapters - our Beta Chapter at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, our Gamma Chapter at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario and our Delta Chapter in Kingston, Ontario. We take pride in our motto of Sisterhood to Last a Lifetime and we strive to build leaders out of strong young women.
