It was 1983 when Il Pastaio, the fresh egg pasta workshop in Villafranca, a typical production area a few kilometers from Verona and Lake Garda, was born. At this time production was on a small scale and sales took place within the confines of the surrounding area. The 1990s saw a great development, from a small artisan workshop it turned into a production plant with new technologies, new recipes but the same love and care for things done well. Starting in the 2000s, the production lines of Pastificio Armando De Angelis became 4, with 30 different types of products with certified quality: from the dough to the production processes. Armando De Angelis signature pasta becomes the 'fresh pasta that everyone likes'. Subsequently, the production plants increase to 2 and the lines become 9. Gluten Free, Bio, Bio Vegan lines are launched, in line with the culture of well-being and new consumer needs. In 2018 Armando De Angelis becomes De Angelis Fresh Pasta. The new positioning is born: ANIMA CREATIVA, which also involves rebranding activities. The Creative Laboratory is developed and research is strengthened. In 2021, "De Angelis Food Group" takes shape. A group of established Companies, already present in the Food&Beverage market, with the common goal of offering fresh, genuine and certified products to the market. Today, De Angelis Group presents itself with its brands in the two largest Italian trade fairs in the sector: Marca Bologna Fiere and Cibus, becoming the protagonist of a global event with an exhibition space of over 180sqm.
