MISSION Deaf Access Services (DAS) responds to the interests of Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals by promoting communication access, awareness, and opportunities in the greater community. VISION DAS envisions a community where ALL people experience equality, empowerment, and inclusion – leading lives full of possibilities. VALUES At Deaf Access Services (DAS), we: Respect the principles of Deaf Culture and the wide diversity of the community we serve. Believe that communication access is a human and civil right. Advocate for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals’ rights to use sign language and other modes of communication based on their personal preferences. Honor the uniqueness of each person. Connect people and build community. Empower others by encouraging leadership, independence and self-advocacy.
