This is the official page of the DIGITAL AFRICAN WOMAN Digital African Woman is a social enterprise dedicated to the innovation and support for female-led tech businesses across Africa and the Diaspora; through active training in digital skill development and business ideation. The Digital African Woman provides our best trainers to help startups develop their product and identify investors. We provide the opportunities for women-led businesses to move from pitching their ideas to pitching a product. Our mission is to: Support, Engage and Empower the women in building their businesses with more sustainable digital strategies. Access to Finance and technology to scale. DAW, aims to create an atmosphere where women can learn, engage and become empowered to participate more actively in their respective societies. Our 3 pillars are firmly aligned with SDG's 8. 9 and 10. Our programs address issues ranging from tech career and entrepreneurship to self-esteem, and reduced inequality. We aim to not only create an atmosphere that promotes financial inclusion and sustainability, but also seek to draw out already accomplished women globally to give support and insights that will grow the community of women in empowered technology driven entrepreneurship. As we believe that the road to present and future economic empowerment for women lies in complete access to technology, our program is developed based on a strong foundation for the African woman-led businesses/ startup environment. We support these startups as well as the general public with our signature 6 weeks training program which includes 4 weeks online and 10 days onsite in addition to our annual conference and pitch challenge. #DAW run yearly with free online business training for selected female startups from June -Sept.
