Dalton Cervo is the president and founder of Data Gap Consulting. Dalton is an indepedent data management consultant and book author on Master Data Management. Dalton has over 23 years experience in software development, project management, and data management areas. In the last 10 years, Dalton has specialized in multiple disciplines related to data management, including Master Data Management, Entity Resolution, Data Governance and Stewardship, Data Integration and Synchronization, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Reference Data Management, Data Security, and Data Architecture. Dalton has successfully led many single and multi-domain MDM implementations as an independent consultant, as a Senior Solutions Consultant at DataFlux/SAS, and as a Senior PM at Sun Microsystems/Oracle. Dalton is co-author of Master Data Management in Practice – Achieving True Customer MDM. Dalton also contributed with a chapter on MDM to Phil Simon’s book, The Next Wave of Technologies - Opportunity in Chaos. Dalton is a member of the DataQualityPRO expert panel, has served on customer advisory boards, and is an active contributor to the data management community through conferences and social media vehicles (blog, twitter). Dalton has BSCS and MBA degrees, and is PM certified.
