Overview

Darwen Cricket Club is a sports club based at the heart of the local community. We run four adult teams in the Lancashire League and Palace Shield, whilst our junior sides range from U7's through to U19's Lancashire Champions 2018 Lancashire League Champions 2022 On the field the club has a long history of success, winning the Northern League title on five occasions. Since moving to the Lancashire League in 2017, the club has experienced more success winning the famous Worsley Cup in 2017 & 2019 and the Lancashire League Title in 2022. The club has also appeared in four Lancashire Cup finals, winning the competition in 2018. Off the pitch, Darwen Cricket Club is the home of the official Darwen Town Bonfire, an event which sees in excess of 2,000 visitors to Birch Hall. Our function room has recently undergone a modern refurbishment, making it the premier community space in Darwen
