Overview

The Culinary Heritage Project serves to gather and celebrate the extensive culinary knowledge that comprises the rich culinary traditions of Israel. This trove of culinary information arrived with Jews who traveled to Israel from around the globe and from the many cultures that share the land of Israel. This project aims to preserve and make accessible a fast disappearing facet of our cultural and historic identity, create a catalyst for pride in our particular heritages and share personal and collective stories through the powerful experience of food.
