Cryo Wellness of America offers the First Whole Body Cryotherapy Chamber in Western New York and the first of its kind in the United States. What makes the Cryo Chamber unique is that it accommodates up to six individuals who are exposed to sub-freezing temperatures without directly exposing the skin to liquid nitrogen. We’re a new kind of cold therapy company. We’re making cold therapy simpler, more intuitive and accessible for Western New Yorkers. Our goal is to bring the benefits of cold therapy utilized in Europe for 30 years to the people of Western New York and add to the body of knowledge on the benefits of using a Whole Body Cryo-Chamber by conducting research projects with interested local, national and international partners. Cryo Wellness of America was founded by Robert J Fronckowiak, a retired educator and businessman who experienced firsthand the benefits of using a group Cryo-Chamber while living in Krakow, Poland in 2013. Whole Body Cryotherapy was recommended by a physical therapist as an adjunct treatment for a shoulder problem. “ I have to admit that walking into the chamber for the very first time was pretty scary. I wasn’t sure I would be able to withstand the cold. I was surprised to discover that the cold was very tolerable because it is a dry cold without wind. Not only did the treatments help my shoulder but they also substantially reduced overall body aches and pains. I felt a sense of regeneration after each treatment and began to look forward to subsequent treatments with enthusiasm.”
