Overview

Founded by Richard Best and Michael Metcalf in 2016, Creative Labs is a multi-disciplinary arts incubator focused on jump-starting entrepreneurship among Baltimore’s creative community. Located in the neighborhood of Clipper Hill, Creative Labs features a range of amenities: individual studios/offices, performance art/music performance space, exhibition space, art gallery, fabrication lab, screen-printing/paint booth, recording studio, lighting/video studio, wood-shop, and dark room. The role of Creative Labs is to provide agency and promotional support, education, and individualized mentorship to a cohort of emerging artists.
