Cranage is a UKAS Accredited Laboratory (No. 1833) for testing EMC, Product Safety, Energy Consumption, and Environmental Performance. Cranage has also been appointed by the UK Government as an Approved Body for Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016. Cranage was founded in 1992 and we remain a family run business, where we put service at the heart of what we do. We offer a complete range of EMC testing services to gain compliance for European and International markets. Our experienced Engineers can also offer technical advice and consultancy, as well as pre-compliance testing for product development. Our Safety Lab is able to test a wide variety of products, to ensure they conform with national regulations, European Directives, or country-specific requirements. We have an extensive range of Environmental Testing facilities available, with all of our services in one location. If your equipment is large or in place, we can also perform testing at your premises. Cranage Engineers can carry out factory inspections for quality and testing assurance. Cranage can manage your testing requirements with our partners to gain certification against American (UL) and Canadian (CSA) standards. Using UKAS-ILAC accreditation we are able to issue reports to gain NRTL certification, which is a legal requirement in these countries. We also offer a range of services for UK manufacturers exporting to the Middle East and Africa. Import inspection authorities in these countries require a Certificate of Conformity, issued by an approved accreditation body to clear customs. Using our purpose-built, family-run facilities allows you to get your product to market faster with support from our team of experienced Engineers.
