Overview

The Quebec Retail Council (CQCD) represents more than 5,000 businesses and nearly 70% of the economic activity related to the retail sector in Quebec. The CQCD was founded in 1978. Over the years, it has become the main spokesperson and leader of the sector. It is responsible for representing, promoting and developing the interests of the sector in its dealings with the government and the public authorities, as well as with the commercial and industrial sectors.
