Overview

Council of Africa Youth Advocates (CAYA) is an international youth advocacy based organisation comprising of young experts from the 55 countries in Africa. CAYA is properly constituted with the founding members, the President, the Vice President, Executive Director, the 5 regional heads and 5 deputy regional heads from the West Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa, Central Africa, and Northern Africa , 55 delegates from the 55 Countries in Africa, directors, special appointees and Aids. The main objective of establishing the Council of African Youth Advocates Constitution is to organize all young advocates in Africa and Diaspora for the promotion of youth participation in the policies, programmes and projects of both governmental and nongovernmental organizations at the national, regional and continental levels for the advancement of Africa and realization of Vision 2063 of the Africa want and the continent we deserve. As a multisectoral and multidisciplinary advocacy group, the scope of its operation covers the following sectors a. Trade, Business and Investment Advocacy Sector b. Health Advocacy c. Human Rights Advocacy d. Environment, Sanitation, and Climate Change Advocacy e. Political Affairs and Leadership f. Peace and Conflict Resolution g. African Identity, Culture and Values h. Agricultural Development in Africa i. Youth Employment j. Sustainable Development Goals. CAYA aims : To Mobilize and organize the youth to actively take part in and professionally contribute to institutional and national agenda and socio-economic development of the Africa; To Facilitate and coordinate activities aimed at ensuring harmonious and productive relations between the Council of Africa Youth Advocates and the Leaders of Africa country; To ensure skill development of the Youth through skill acquisition initiatives; For inquiries contact Barr.
