Cornell Real Estate Club

Overview

Founded in 2010, CREC collaborates with the Cornell Real Estate and Finance (CREF) and the Associate Real Estate Council (AREC) to provide the latest industry tools and resources. CREC complements the real estate curriculum by providing educational, professional, and networking opportunities. The club benefits students previously unexposed to real estate to become more interested in the industry, provide those with a real estate background with a forum to refine and expand their knowledge, and expose those students to industry professionals, real world projects, and on-campus events. Over the past two years, membership has tripled and the club’s role in real estate education and professional development has expanded. Now, with over 1,700 members, the Cornell Real Estate Club can offer a wider range of activities for members, including career treks to various cities, formal mentor program, industry exposure, and guest speakers. Our agenda is devoted exclusively to career preparation and professional development. This organization is a registered student organization of Cornell University.
