Overview

Building Transforming Relationships through a Network (Corps) of Churches and Individuals Committed to a Shared Journey of Discipleship Formation and Racial Justice/Reconciliation. The Cornelius Corps focuses on two main areas: 1. The Journey Inward, Outward, and Together Model of Discipleship in which we teach the principles and practices of holistic discipleship including the inward (spiritual formation), outward (discerning and following God's call), and together (in-depth covenant community) journeys of Christian faith and ministry. 2. Justice and Racial Reconciliation in which we teach about God's call to justice and reconciliation using the witness of Martin Luther King, Jr. and thousands of others in the civil rights movement. This witness from our nation's recent past informs how we continue to work for justice and reconciliation as disciples of Jesus today.
