Overview
Coram IAC is located in Barnet, and is the UK’s leading intercountry adoption centre and a registered charity working with children, adopters, international adoption agencies, local authorities and the Department for Education. Coram IAC is a member of the Coram Group of children's charities. The agency is accredited by the governments of China (Special Needs children), India, Bulgaria, South Africa and The Philippines to offer services to prospective parents seeking to adopt from those countries. Coram IAC is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and is also the lead agency in the Intercountry Adoption Regional Adoption Agency for England, working in partnership with Adoption Matters and Nugent Adoption in the North West of England, ARC Adoption North East in the North East of England and CCS Adoption in the South West of England. Our mission: IAC’s mission is to place children from all parts of the world, both in the UK and overseas, in safe, loving and permanent families and to work in a fair, transparent and professional manner with all individuals who seek our professional services. The agency also works with adopted adults, birth relatives and professionals working in intercountry adoption. Our workforce is professional, dedicated and friendly and is highly experienced in all matters relating to adoption. To date, we have placed almost 250 children with their new families. We welcome enquiries from prospective adopters regardless of their gender, sexuality, age, ethnicity, disability, religious belief or marital status.
