Copenhagen Arctic A/S is a Joint Venture (JV) established by the Danish company Copenhagen Group A/S (70% shareholding) and U.S.-based Dyncorp International LLC (30% shareholding) for the sole purpose of tendering for the operation and maintenance of the Thule Air Base, Greenland for the U.S. Air Force Space Command/21st Space Wing/821st Air Base Group. Copenhagen Arctic combines Danish and American know-how and expertise in base operations support. The Members of the JV have profound expertise in remote area operations and excellent past performance with the United States Department of Defense (DOD) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Copenhagen Group A/S provides facility management services and construction for NATO operations worldwide. DynCorp International LLC is a global government services provider. DynCorp is a leader in base operation support, aviation services and contingency operations. Copenhagen Arctic A/S is supported by a number of highly specialized and qualified Danish and Greenlandic subcontractors with unique and demonstrated capabilities in remote site operations, power plants, HVAC, water and wastewater treatment, firefighting, material handling equipment and environmental management. All subcontractors have relevant experience from operating at Thule Air Base, in Greenland, or in the Arctic region.
