Columbia Baptist Church is a diverse family united under a single mission statement - Igniting Passion for Jesus Christ From Metro Washington to the World. Whoever you are, and wherever you are in life, there is a place for you at our church. Whether you are merely curious about God or have been a committed Christian for years, here at Columbia you can find a group of people like you seeking spiritual answers and community. We have services with different and culture styles, even in different languages. You can explore your faith in settings from coffeehouses to home Bible studies (Ignition Groups). You can make a difference in the world by helping us feed the homeless, teach others to read, or by sharing God’s truth and beauty through music and the arts. Columbia includes: * Six congregations who speak five different languages; Arabic, English, Korean, Spanish & Vietnamese * Food Pantry at our Crossroads location that distributes more than 7,000 pounds of food every week * On-site gardens that produce more than 1,500 pounds of food for the food pantry * Preschool with Full-Day, Half-Day and Bilingual programs * A Fine Arts Program offering music and dance classes * Day Camp during summer, spring and winter break * More than 30 Bible Study groups
