Overview

The Colorado Taekwondo Institute teaches Moo Sul Kwan Martial Arts and is recognized by the American Martial Arts Sports and Education Association and the Moo Sul Kwan Martial Arts Institute - both founded by Great Grandmaster Lee H. Park. The CTI was founded in 1983 by Grandmaster James M. Sautel. Today it has grown across Colorado and there are Campus locations in Lakewood, Littleton, Westminster, Golden, Conifer and Craig, Colorado, along with various before and after school programs at elementary schools throughout Jefferson County. At the Colorado Taekwondo Institute, students discover the rewards of goal setting behaviors as they advance from belt to belt. These goals allow the students to set small achievable steps as they experience success. Our passion at the CTI is to develop students who will become dynamic black belts. We also develop our students' and instructors' leadership and teaching skills, enabling all of us to make meaningful contributions to the family, school and community levels. We offer Taekwondo (Korean Karate) classes at each of our schools for toddlers, juniors, teens and adults. Our classes are structured, yet very dynamic. Our younger students learn focus, self-control, respect and motor coordination. Our adult students relieve stress and learn self-defense in our goal-setting classes, while getting into shape.
