The College Admissions Futures Co-Laborative (CAF Co-Lab) is a multi-institutional partnership of faculty, researchers, and scholar-practitioners. Our research seeks to identify ways in which institutions and college admissions can be designed to advance equity. Research is led by OiYan A. Poon, Julie J. Park, Dominique Baker, Kelly Rosinger, and Brian Kim. Learn more at: https://www.cafcolab.org/ Current research includes: (1) Understanding the impact of test-optional policies on enrollment for Black, Latinx, Indig, and low-income students; (2) Developing a clearinghouse for prospective students, families, and counselors on application requirements; and (3) Exploring possible inequality within non-standardized components of college applications (letters of recommendation and extracurricular activities).
