EnRoute allows a shopper to purchase goods that are unavailable or too expensive in the city he or she lives in, by renting a traveller’s excess luggage space (hiring him or her as a shopping and delivery agent), for a fraction of traditional shipping fees. Unlike other international delivery services, this system is designed to make worldwide shopping and shipping affordable and accessible by tapping into the sharing economy.
