Overview

CMT have been operating since 1993, and have delivered private and government funded training across the South West through our community based training centres since 2003. CMT have worked as a sub-contractor with both local and national organisations to support individuals at local level to identify their next steps and develop their skills to progress into work or further in their career paths. Our network of referring partners, stakeholders and employers allow us to address local needs and provide relevant and effective advice, guidance and training; targeting opportunities and skills gaps in local labour markets. Advice and Guidance through our National Careers Service programme has also been delivered successfully for over 16 years. Following on from our role as the Learndirect delivery partner for the South-West, we have re-modelled to support a greater number of Primes including local authorities, councils, colleges and private training providers. This has allowed us to offer funded training and support to individuals through a range of government schemes including Community learning, Upskilling Maths and English, Skills Support for the Unemployed, Skills support for the Workforce and Young people across the southwest through our NEETs funding. CMT delivers training across a number of sectors including Construction, Retail and Warehousing, Administration and IT, Care, Health and Safety. In addition we offer private training direct to individuals or companies which can be delivered through our training centres or on site. CMT is committed to improving futures through supporting the individuals we work with to progress towards their goals and realise their potential. CMT is very proud to be a Living Wage employer as well as a member of the Disability Confident Scheme, where we er Disability Confident - Committed. We also hold the Matrix acreditation, which we use to improve our services by benchmarking against best practice.
