This City of 16,000 is the major population centre for southwest Saskatchewan, and lies midway between Regina and Medicine Hat on the Trans-Canada highway. With one of the highest non-local traffic counts along the Trans-Canada #1 Highway, the City has prioritized tourism in terms of local development.
