Cirque du Soil aka 'Circular Soil' is a circular waste focused certified social enterprise, actively addressing the missing middle in urban waste in Precincts and Multi-Unit Developments, using place based frameworks to reduce our impact on the planet. Our Mission: - Advocate for urban transitions to circular cities and neighbourhoods - Designing out waste in community programs and projects that engage precincts to take climate action - Reduce and divert waste going to landfill - Help local businesses transition to the circular economy through education and brokerage of precinct waste streams to locally manufactured circular products and services - Enable urban CE ecosystem infrastructure to accelerate CE product innovation through access to microrecycling initiatives and circular outcomes. Our mission is to reduce and divert waste going to landfill and help businesses transition to the circular economy; with our pilot compost collective program centered around recovering urban food waste to produce high nutrient biodiverse fertiliser on a close to zero carbon footprint. We have entered a new growth phase in 2022 to increase our social and environmental impact, with our circular waste consulting service and development of our Community Waste Collectives, a replicable, scalable circular waste program for the hospitality and office sector across precincts. With the support of Bank Australia, we will also be releasing a Circular Hospitality Best Practice Guide in July 2023.
