Overview

To limit global warming to 1.5°C, CO2 not only needs to be reduced, but also removed from the air//atmosphere. This is where Circular Horizon comes into play. We are an association of over 40 motivated and passionate students, working towards a more sustainable and brighter future through innovative technologies. To compete for the XPRIZE Carbon Removal, we are designing, building, and validating a low-cost carbon removal and sequestration technology that is capable of processing 1000t CO2/y. But our vision goes beyond the competition: we are working to become a platform to develop sustainable solutions for carbon mitigation. Aside from the technical development, we are also creating a community to empower students to share and extend their expertise and to raise awareness of the climate challenge.
