Christiane Duncan Interiors is a full-scale interior design studio that focuses primarily on high-end residential projects in New York City and the surrounding areas. After graduating from Parsons with an advanced degree in Design, Christiane began her career at Roman & Williams. She worked at various other firms, including the Rockwell Group and Reunion, before opening her own studio. Christiane's design practice always begins with close attention to both the raw space of her projects as well as her client's particular needs. That information always informs the early stages of her process and helps deepen the overall planning of her work. Christiane believes that the way we live naturally is to collect various things over time. Interiors that have the most character are never one single note; they are layered with a number of different textures. Those layers can come from various places and times, like travel, the past, and the present. The ultimate goal in her work is to create spaces that are at at once soulful and livable.
