Overview

The China-Brazil Business Council is a non-profit institution with nearly 80 Brazilian and Chinese companies among its members. It was founded in May 2004, when Brazil’s president visited China, in order to increase the quality and depth of economic relations between both countries. The Council works as an advocacy group for the promotion of members’ collective interests, puts forward policy proposals, promotes research and academic networks to study bilateral relations and assists individual businesses at an institutional level. Among our associates are the largest companies both in Brazil and China with stakes in both countries. We also publish monthly reports on the main issues regarding Chinese economy and politics, as well as quarterly analysis of China’s macroeconomic data.
