Overview

Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT) is a state key university established in 1956 in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. CDUT is co-administered by the Ministry of Education of China, the Ministry of Natural Resources of China, and the Government of Sichuan Province. Chengdu University of Technology is based chiefly on science and engineering, with engineering, geology, energy science, resource science, nuclear technology, environmental science, chemical engineering, materials, electronics, machinery, information science, and management science as its advantages and characteristics. The university offers 74 undergraduate majors and more than 100 master's and doctoral programs. CDUT is a Double First Class University included in the Chinese central government's Double First Class University Initiative. Chengdu University of Technology is an important national base for scientific research and high-level talent cultivation. By 2022, the university houses 2 State Key Laboratories and 34 key laboratories of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and Sichuan Province.
