Charles and Cosette Andrews set an example of hard work and set a goal of self-sufficiency while raising 11 children. Charles and Cosette sacrificed personal time, often working multiple jobs, utilizing the talents they had developed to provide for their family. Cosette looked for alternative means to treat cancer, her research into holistic and naturopathic methods of treatment has had a lasting impact on her descendants. Mission: To provide communities with the knowledge, tools, and skills to have greater self-sufficiency, and increased health habits—thereby decreasing government burden; enable stronger, healthier communities & neighborhoods, and provide young citizens with opportunities for building confidence and personal growth. The foundation takes special interest in administration and support of holistic medicine for prevention and management of chronic disease in underserved communities and the development of cultural arts. The Charles and Cosette Andrews Foundation provides activities to further its mission by providing: a. Health Care: The foundation administers and supports holistic medicine for prevention and management of chronic disease in underserved communities. b. Health Care Education. The foundation may provide opportunities students and physicians studying holistic medicine by providing of preceptorships and internships. c. Education in Cultural Arts: The Foundation may support and build cultural arts for youth in communities with insufficient resources to conduct them on their own.
