Catholic Women's Network

Overview

Catholic Women’s Network (CWN) exists to support Catholic women in Sydney and beyond in living faith-filled lives and making an impact in the wider community The program aims to empower women to use their gifts and talents to make meaningful and significant contributions to the Australian Church and increase their positive impact on Australian society. God created women with unique gifts, talents and skills. The world needs the ‘feminine genius.’ Catholic women who are strong and affirmed in their faith and their capabilities can do amazing things to transform society. Faith-filled women, on fire with the Holy Spirit, can be the hands and feet of God through their lives. Catholic women are invited to sign up online as a mentor or mentee. Mentors will be matched with a younger woman (mentee), according to their needs, whom they will encourage and support sharing their faith and life journey. While there are no age restrictions for mentors, it is expected that mentors will be able to share significant life experience with their mentee. The program has an informal structure; it is up to the mentor and mentee to choose how they would like to connect and how often. The program is based on building companionship to encourage faith and confidence among Australian Catholic women. All program participants must be over 18 years of age.
