Overview
Our Mission is to advance the power and well-being of Latino immigrants through employment, education, and community organizing. Our vision is that the Latino community participate fully in the economy and democracy of this country. Our values are social justice, community, respect, democracy, integrity, and learning. Our Education Program, Day Worker Center, Workers' Defense Committee, and the Leadership Program are all focused on giving the training, knowledge and support needed for our constituents to move toward greater self-sufficiency. Casa Latina was founded in 1994 to empower Seattle’s Latino immigrants by providing them educational and economic opportunities, giving people the tools they need to work, live, support their families and contribute to the Seattle community.
