Overview

Civic Capital was a platform for civic architecture. We partnered with mission-driven organizations to realize their capital goals through real estate development & design. We worked with several wonderful nonprofits, and are excited to share our business model with anyone hoping to do the same! Formed at MIT, the organization was part of the Design X Accelerator with the School of Architecture and Planning, with additional support from the MIT Sandbox Fund. We hope to one day return as a nonprofit—today we're focused on affordable housing over at Homestead
