Overview

The Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees [hereinafter called “CANOC”] is a regional Non-Governmental Organization comprising National Olympic Committees, Commonwealth Games Associations and governing bodies of National Sports Organizations. (not including governmental or political entities). It was established the 31st day of July 2003 and has as its principal objectives the celebration and conduct of the Caribbean Games and the Promotion, Development and Protection of Sport as well as the Olympic Movement in the Caribbean through its member organizations.
