Overview
Camp Tapawingo is a traditional, all-girls summer camp in Sweden, Maine. Each summer, over 100 campers come from all over the world to learn new skills, laugh uncontrollably, and make lifelong friends. At Tapawingo, campers learn how to be leaders, how to be true friends, and how to be themselves. Our 200 acres of woods, fields and sandy beaches overlook Mt. Washington and the White Mountains in the Lakes Region of Maine. As a Tapawingo counselor, you'll spend your days teaching classes to small groups of campers in your area of expertise (arts and crafts, landsports, horseback riding, theater, outdoor adventure, or waterfront). In the evening, camp hosts all-camp programs such as theater productions, sports games, campfires, or goofy team-building activities. As a member of the Tap Staff, you'll help to make these memorable and magical! Along with our paid counselor positions, we also offer support staff positions in our kitchen, maintenance department, and office. We oversee paid teaching, social-work, or coaching internships. The Camp Tapawingo Leadership Team is filled with expert teachers, coaches, and licensed clinical social workers who are qualified to support you throughout your internship. Consider applying to work with us today!
