Overview
Camp Nominingue is an English summer camp for boys. It is located 200 km north of Montréal in Québec’s Laurentian Mountains. Its 400 acres of forests and playing fields fronting on a beautiful northern lake create the perfect setting for fun, friendship, adventure and personal growth. Here campers discover living outdoors and a wide range of camp activities, games, skills and learning experiences. They also discover that living away from home for a few weeks, in a community of their peers, can be an opportunity to: - participate in and learn about activities not normally available at home - take more responsibility for their own welfare and make their own decisions - make new friends From archery to orienteering to water sports to wilderness canoe tripping, Camp Nominingue engages boys aged seven to 16 in fun-filled and challenging outdoor adventures. Camp Nominingue aims to develop self-confidence, teamwork and leadership skills. Campers learn to respect themselves, others and nature. Hopefully, they will also gain a sense of achievement and an appreciation for a true outdoor camping experience.
