Camp Dark Waters

Overview

Camp Dark Waters serves its community of campers and staff by running recreational activities that are fun and serve to nurture the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional life of young people. Based on the Quaker values of Peace, Education, Simplicity, Stewardship, Equality, and Integrity, our diverse community builds new friendships in a "family" atmosphere. We live and play together and learn to appreciate one another in our outdoor camp setting. When our residential camp isn't in session our property serves as an outdoor center. We provide a friendly, rustic setting in which schools, churches, families, clubs, scouts, social and civic groups can gather together for workshops, retreats, reunions, youth gatherings, picnics and celebrations. Camp Dark Waters and its facilities are ACA accredited. We accommodate retreats and outdoor education in the fall and spring, pre and post our summer camp season.
