Nasce, assim, em 2012 uma empresa familiar, dirigida por Lígia Santos que troca Lisboa e a advocacia pelo vinho e ruma a Nelas para dirigir os destinos do projecto. Os seus vinhos são feitos a partir de uvas de produção própria e de produtores selecionados, reconhecidos pela sua qualidade e excelência de castas, todos na região do Dão. A filosofia da empresa baseia-se na produção de vinhos de qualidade, com uma vertente de tradição aliada ao modernismo e constante diferenciação que o mercado exige, é neste contexto que os vinhos da Caminhos Cruzados surgem como “O Novo Dão". [EN]The Caminhos Cruzados comes from the initiative and willingness of the Santos’ family, born in Nelas, determined to return to its origins to invest in an old passion, the Dão wine. A family business was born in 2012, led by Lígia Santos, who quits a career as a lawyer in Lisbon and heads to Nelas to direct the destinies of the wine project. Their wines are made from grapes of their own production and selected producers, recognized for their grape varieties’ quality and excellence, all in the Dão region. The company philosophy is based on the production of quality wines, where the tradition comes together with modernism, ensuring the key elemento that the market demands: differentiation. The name of the company – Crossroads - comes from the belief that life is not always about straight paths and that there are atypical roads that lead us to incredible places. The motto is that every time two paths cross, something amazing can happen, as it happens nowadays with this family, where different backgrounds and experiences come together.
