Welcome! We are Ernesto and Sarah, your hosts, and Camaroncito is our dream. We are beach bums, foodies, salsa dancers and experienced travelers. We love to share our escape from modern life, a place to be inspired by the ocean waves, the rainforest wildlife, amazing food, delicious drinks, and the wonder of a star-filled sky unpolluted by manmade light. Our 16-acre undeveloped property was purchased in 2017, started hosting guests in 2018, and became a legal business in 2021 offering "glamping" getaways for small groups. In January 2023 we opened with all new buildings: 4 beachfront cabanas, a beachfront social area with a restaurant and bar, and a small spa. Camaroncito welcomes ALL adult guests from any country, of any religious belief, of any lifestyle choice, including the LGBTQ community. We are an open and happy place. However, despite our love for kids and pets, we are not set up for youngsters < 10 except during specially posted family getaways. Pets who are not totally reliable off-leash, including with other animals, would be at risk at Camaroncito. Getting to CAMARONCITO is part of the fun. We are on Panama's Central Caribbean Coast, locally called "Costa Abajo." You can come using your own car and boat/jetski, or we can arrange everything for you ... airport pickup in a private bus then transfer to our boat, or come by helicopter!
