Cameroon Development and Education Foundation (CADEF) is a child's rights organization accredited by the United Nations ECOSOC, advancing the rights of children and equality for girls, CADEF, was founded in 2013 and got its official authorization on the 31st May 2017, head office is located in Limbe 1 Sub-Division, 20th Makangai Street (opposite Express Union Downbeach Limbe), South West Region of Cameroon. We envision an aggregate and equal society wherein the equal rights of boy and girl children, men and women, are guaranteed and protected without bias and injustice. We are MISSIONED, to create access to social and economic opportunities towards empowering Women, girls, and Children. With Objectives that commit us to; - Improving the health of children and young people through access to primary health care including sexual and reproductive health services, safe water, and sanitation. -Supporting children to complete a quality and inclusive primary and secondary education. -Protecting all children and young people from all forms of violence and abuse. -Helping adolescents become resilient to the effects of socio-economic and climate change shocks and the impact of disasters by assisting them to gain a sustainable livelihood. CADEF adopts an Integrated Sustainable Development Model, which works in five (5) main thematic areas: • Environment Education • Health and Nutrition • Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) • Education and Protection • Livelihood and Women’s Empowerment With a Motto: “Building a strong foundation for a better future of our communities.”
