BySTORM & CO. was founded in 2007 on the initiative of Federico Caron, a graduate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Padua and Dr. Carlo Cola graduate in Business Economics from the University of Verona. The main activity is attributable to the design, production and marketing of drives / servo power supplies / inverters for industrial automation and electric traction. The sizes range from the fraction of kW to 40kW for the most powerful servodrive For needs related to the supply of complete packages, touch screen cards and data collection cards have also been developed. The company currently employs 2 electrical engineers, 3 electronic engineers and an administrative secretary. Our team has all the skills to design servo drive hardware, control algorithms dedicated to management for many types of electric motors and field buses. Among the technologies we hold we can mention the algorithms for control, sensored and sensorless, for sinusoidal and DC brushless motors, sensorless algorithms, vector control of asynchronous motors. Last but not least, the management of some modern field buses. Production is handled by us at external specialized companies, including Italy, Croatia and now China. The BySTORM clientele is divided between various Italian numerical control manufacturers, Italian and foreign engine manufacturers. We have an excellent operational base in China, both through our customers and directly. We believe that the new market concerns electric vehicles where we position ourselves in the small to medium power range, up to 20kW and low voltage, up to 96V. We do not exclude future expansions even to higher sizes and tensions. In the field of automation, although direct competition is very fierce, we do not fail to engage with new products. Our philosophy for the next few years is to produce servodrives with technical characteristics aligned with the competition, safety certifications and at profitable prices.
