Established in 2014, PT Bunyu Tapa Energi (BTE) is an independent upstream Oil and Gas Company has signed a joint operating agreement (KSO) with Pertamina EP to develop the Bunyu Tapa concession, having based on an asset located in Bunyu Island. The KSO contract was signed on 24 November 2014 directly between BTE and PEP and was deemed effective on 12 January 2015 until 12 January 203 (15 Years). • The Bunyu Tapa Project encompasses rehabilitation and delineation drilling on the Bunyu Tapa Field BTF and surrounding offshore waters. The project encompasses a combination of the rehabilitation of oil and gas production from existing 23 wellbores and outpost development drilling to discover oil/gas and condensate reservoirs. The BTF was discovered in 1975 and was commercially put on production in 1986. Development drilling in the area has produced 23 wells of which 22 produced gas, oil and condensate. A total of approximately 60 BCF and 2MMBO have been produced from the field since 1986. PT Bunyu Tapa Energi will focus on wells located at onshore and then later on developing offshore area.
