Big Science Business Forum 2024 (BSBF2024) will be the first one-stop shop for European businesses and other stakeholders to learn about Europe’s Big Science organisations’ future investments and procurements worth billions of euros. This will help create a better market for Big Science in Europe. BSBF2024 is hosted by Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia (www.regione.fvg.it), ILO Network italia (https://www.ilonetwork.it/), Area Science Park (https://www.areasciencepark.it/) and Io sono Friuli Venezia Giulia (https://www.iosonofvg.it/). The BSBF2024 conference is organised by the European Big Science organisations: CERN, ESA, ESO, ESS, ESRF, European XFEL, FAIR, Fusion for Energy ILL and SKAO and will be held in Trieste (Italy), from 1 through 4 of october of 2024. The conference programme of BSBF2024 will address the topic of Big Science as a business area and in dedicated parallel sessions focus on Big Science investments in the coming years. The emphasis will be on presenting businesses concrete in-formation about the opportunities within 12 distinct business areas. 1-1 Meetings will be an integral part of the conference allowing Big Science organisations, primes and suppliers to meet. Lastly the exhibition will give participants an opportunity to present services and products side by side with Europe’s largest research infrastructures. At BSBF2024 participants will: • Learn about business opportunities • Meet representatives from Europe’s Big Science organisations and their key suppliers. • Network and establish long lasting partnerships via business-to-business meetings (B2B), business-to-customer meetings (B2C) • Get insight into procurement rules, IPR, technology transfer and how businesses can interplay with the Big Science market.
