Building Product Information (BPI) Rating is a searchable online database of information about building materials and products. BPI provides architects, designers and specifiers a “one-stop-shop” for the information required to assess a building product or material for specification into a building project. BPI provides information on the environmental, social, economic, resilience and compliance performance of building products and materials. Our goal is to help create a safer, more sustainable and resilient built environment. BPI Rating stands for Building Product Information Rating and is an independent and advertisement free platform developed to help building professionals save time searching for and comparing products and their information. BPI Rating is brought to you by the Insurance Council Australia, Edge Environment and Comply Flow to help building professionals and homeowners to find, evaluate and compare the information and completeness of information available for all building products. BPI Rating has collected information about hundreds of building product manufacturers and products, and they have been rated according to their transparency and quality of credentials. BPI Rating provides free access to all users of the online platform (https://BPIrating.com.au), there’s a free option for all manufacturer to add their information and credentials. BPI Rating continuously add products and their information to provide a complete building products database. BPI Rating reviews and verifies the information provided and clearly distinguish between verified and unverified information.
